• Tag: Keep this garment dry. When wet, dry it well. Spread it out, hang it up but keep it away from hot steam pipes and radiators. Dry slowly. Hang the jacket by the hanger loops on the hem. This will avoid undue wear, due to motion of the ship. If the slide fastener snags, DO NOT FORCE...work loose gently lubricate occasionally with candle wax, or lead from soft pencil. Protect it from salt spray, by keeping the front closure buttoned.
