This vintage purse from Trimingham’s Bermuda is a collectible piece from the iconic luxury department store that closed in 2005. It features a structured wooden handle with cut-out grips, a blue fabric body, and a navy interior lining with the Trimingham’s Bermuda label. The front is accented with a stitched white monogram resembling the letter “N,” which appears to be a custom personalization added for the original owner.
Trimingham’s was a luxury department store in Hamilton, Bermuda that operated from the mid-1800s until it closed in 2005. Their store carried high-end fashion, accessories, and souvenirs, and many of their bags are now considered collectible “resort vintage” pieces.
Purchased at auction and in very good vintage condition, this purse is both a stylish accessory and a piece of Bermuda’s fashion history.
